3 days from fes to marrakech tour via erg chebbi dunes

PROGRAM DETAILS

1 Day 1 : Fes - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

You will be picked up at 08:00 in Fez by your Morocco Happiness Tours guide and we will start the journey of the day to Merzouga by driving through Ifrane, Next we will visit the cedar forest Azrou where you will see the monkeys (Barbary Apes) and then cross the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Most of the day will be spent traveling through forests, springs and Berber villages. Halfway we will stop for lunch in the city of Midelt. We continue to cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend to the Sahara Desert.

In the afternoon we will enter the Erg Chebbi sand dunes which are part of the Sahara Desert. When we arrive, a Camel guide will take you to a one-hour Camel ride to your campsite and there you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset of the desert. You will join the desert camp, be served a dinner, enjoy campfire and spend the night in a Berber tent under the stars.

2 Day 2 : Merzouga – Valley Of Dades

You should wake up early and look at the magic lights before the sunrise. Once you are out of the sand dunes, you’ll meet your tour guide again and we’ll continue our tour, heading towards Valley of Dades.

We depart towards Tinghir where we will have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra Gorges, stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. We stop in Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous canyons views while wandering around on foot. At the end of the day we drive to the Valley of Dades where you will have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

3 Day 3 : Valley Of Dades - Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

In the morning after breakfast we departure for Marrakech, first by passing the Valley of Roses. We continue to Ouarzazate (also known as the Hollywood of Africa) via the road of 1000 kasbash which offers number of interesting places for sights and photos. We will stop to visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou (World Heritage Site of UNESCO), the place that has been the set of many movies and shows. Afterwards we continue our journey along the majestic Tizi n’Tichka and reach the highest road pass in Africa in an altitude of 2,260m in the High Atlas Mountains. We arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon and our tour will end.
