PROGRAM DETAILS

1 Day 1 : Exploring Casablanca

Your Morocco Happiness tours guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel where you spend the night in Casablanca; which is the economic capital of Morocco. Relying on your arrival time, your tour guide may take you to enjoy a tour to the Hassan II mosque which is one of the biggest mosques in North Africa. In the evening, you will have a choice to have dinner at a famous Rick’s Cafe which was created as a bar for the movie Classic Casablanca by Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart (dinner at Rick’s Cafe is not included).

2 Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, we will continue our trip towards Rabat in which you will visit the most interesting historical monuments that exist in the city like the uncompleted mosque Hassan tower and the mausoleum Mohamed 5th as well as Oudaya Kasbah which was founded by Abu Yusuf Ya'qub al-Mansur in 12th century. After we visit Rabat, we will head straight to the next city Meknes. The city was established by the Alaouit Sultan Moulay Smail in The 18th century. With remnants including Bab Mansour, a huge arch gate with mosaic tiling. We are going to continue our journey to the Roman Empire of Volubilis in which you will see various beautiful Mosaics in Morocco dating back to the 3rd century. We will end the day in Fes, where you are going to spend the night in a Riad/hotel.

3 Day 3 : Full Day Exploring Fes

You’ll be picked up by your tour guide accompanied with a local guide who is included in your Morocco Happiness Tours. You will spend your full day exploring the city of Fes, such as the oldest world’s first university dating back to the 8th century; within a visit of chouara oldest tanneries and major monument in the medina, after a full day exploring the city you will return to your hotel or Riad.

4 Day 4 : Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After leisure breakfast will pick you up by your Morocco Happiness Tours guide and we will start the journey of the day to Merzouga by driving through Ifrane, Next we will visit the cedar forest Azrou where you will see the monkeys (Barbary Apes) and then cross the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Most of the day will be spent traveling through forests, springs and Berber villages. Halfway we will stop for lunch in the city of Midelt. We continue to cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend to the Sahara Desert.

In the afternoon we will enter the Erg Chebbi sand dunes which are part of the Sahara Desert. When we arrive, a Camel guide will take you to a one-hour Camel ride to your campsite and there you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset of the desert. You will join the desert camp, be served a dinner, enjoy campfire and spend the night in a Berber tent under the stars.

5 Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorge

You should wake up early and look at the magic lights before the sunrise. Once you are out of the sand dunes, you’ll meet your tour guide again and we’ll continue our tour, heading towards Valley of Dades.

We depart towards Tinghir where we will have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra Gorges, stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. We stop in Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous canyons views while wandering around on foot. At the end of the day we drive to the Valley of Dades where you will have dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

6 Day 6 : Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, your Morocco Happiness tours guide will drive you to Marrakech crossing the way of thousand Kasbahs providing chances to take some amazing photos of the trip. We will stop in different cities and interesting place such as the city of rose (Kalaat Megouna), Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which was built by Thami Lglaoui in the 18th century and becomes a UNISCO world heritage since 1987. After lunch; we will continue our journey to Marrakech passing through the amazing Tizi n-tichka (2260 meters) in the high Atlas Mountains. Our day will end up in your accommodation in Marrakech where you will spend the night.

7 Day 7 : Explore Marrakech

In the morning after breakfast, our local guide will take you to discover the medina of Marrakech and make sure you are able to visit the most historical, cultural and interesting places such as the Jamaa Elfena square, Saadian tombs, Koutoubia tower, and the Bahia Palaces. Will stop for lunch. Then we continue our tour by visiting Majorelle gardens,. After we finish our journey your tour guide will take you back to your Riad/hotel where you will spend the night.

8 Day 8 : Marrakech – Essaouira

Today, your Morocco Happiness tours guide will drive you straight to Essaouira passing through the land of “Argan Trees”; in this land you will enjoy the view of seeing goats climbing the Argan Trees looking for food which they can’t find on the ground. You will also have chance to visit women cooperatives for Argan oil which is used in people’s daily life as a medical property for beauty. Once we are in Essaouira you will explore the city, walking by the alleys of the medina in which you will see various handcrafts, and Skala Fortress. Essaouira is known for its characteristic blue doors, and washed walls. The city is also known for its annual festival of “Gnawa music” in which many musical groups come from different countries of the world. After you finish your tour around the city you will go to your Riad/hotel in Essaouira where you will spend the night.

9 Day 9 : Essaouira – Casablanca Airport

Today, tour ends when your driver/guide transfers you to Casablanca airport dependent on your flight time.
